Senegal, Mali, Cameroon, and Angola will fight for two spots in the Final of FIBA AfroBasket 2025

And at the end, only four teams remained on board at FIBA AfroBasket 2025, fighting for the most attractive of prizes: being crowned champions of African basketball.

On Thursday night, Angola and Cameroon completed the Semi-Finals picture, following the respective 90-80 victory against Cape Verde and the 95-68 win over Egypt.

Two guards shone for Angola and Cameroon, as Childe Dundao (30 points) and Jeremiah Hill (20 points and 6 rebounds) inspired the two national teams, fighting for a spot in the Final.

Mali and Senegal to meet in the Semi-Finals

On Wednesday, two more teams booked their tickets for the Semi-Finals and will clash on Saturday as well: Mali and Senegal, which respectively beat Côte d’Ivoire and Nigeria.

Starting with the first, Aliou Diarra stepped up big time for Mali, posting up 35 points and 16 rebounds in the 102-96 victory. Valencia‘s Matt Costello had 21 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists.

Moving on to the second Quarter-Final, Brancou Badio had another spectacle to push Senegal, scoring 32 points in the 91-75 win over Nigeria.
