Teams like Iceland (first win ever in the history of competition), Slovenia scored their first victories in the tournament while Czech Republic, Latvia and Italy marched to the next stage winless.

The match that attracted most of the attention was Serbia – Spain and for good reasons. After a huge battle from both sides, the Spaniards prevailed behind Real Madrid‘s Santiago Yusta who finished with 26 points. He was particularly sizzling early with 18 points in 7:30. Wow.

Meanwhile Furkan Korkmaz made his debut for Turkey managing 2/11 shots from the field. But you should expect him to pump up his volume in the next game. After all, it’s a knock-out affair from now on.
