Santi Yusta led the hosts of the Intercontinental Cup to Sunday’s final.

The hosts of the Intercontinental Cup and former Basketball Champions League winners Iberostar Tenerife destroyed in the second semifinal against the Rio Grande Valley Vipers from the G-League. The final score was 110-89 for the Spanish team, which got 31 points by Santi Yusta.

The game was decided in the last period with Tenerife scoring 40 points in 10 minutes while letting the G-League representatives score 21. And of course, Yusta was the star of the show.

Jabari Akil Brown with a three cut the lead to one point (78-77) for the Vipers with six and a half minutes left in the game, but after that, Tenerife dominated.

Gabriel Lundberg added 18 points for the winners and Giorgi Shermadini had 15 and eight rebounds. For the Vipers, Brown was the top scorer with 15 points.

In Sunday’s final, the hosts of the tournament will face Virtus Bologna.
