AEK triumphed in the Intercontinental Cup final and is back in Athens with the trophy. Giannoulis Larentzakis shared his emotions on “Nova TV”, while he’s still processing the team’s successful route: “If you would tell us at the beginning of last season, we would laugh. It took a while and we got three Cups. This shows our work. We are very happy. We have not thought of our limit. Our goal is the BCL, to give everything and go through the next stage.”
Larentzakis also shared his viewpoint on the Intercontinental Cup experience in Rio: “I found there was no relationship with basketball there. They are not used to playing in such tough defense. We played defense and we got the results.”
