Maccabi‘s point guard Lorenzo Brown was one of the main reasons Spain won the gold medal last summer. But now, Brown is not certain he will play in the World Cup
“I am not sure I will play in the World Cup in the summer with the Spanish team,” Brown said to Israel Hayom. “I am considering giving it up now.”
The season in Maccabi took its toll.
“I’ve had a long season, and my body is starting to hurt and break down. Every step I take is like torture. We’ll see how everything will work out in the summer,” Brown added.
Lorenzo Brown was averaging 15.2 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 7.6 assists for Spain last summer.
