Ten days before launching a bid to qualify for the FIBA World Cup 2027, the Turkish Basketball Federation revealed the selections made by Ergin Ataman for the international window on Monday.
Turkiye is scheduled to face Bosnia-Herzegovina in Istanbul’s Turkcell Basketball Development Center on November 27 and travel for a road game versus Switzerland on November 30.
The selections by Ataman, also the head coach of Panathinaikos Aktor at the club level, feature eight players from the EuroLeague called up for action with the senior national team.

In Round 13 of the 2025-26 EuroLeague Regular Season, Dubai, Fenerbahce, and Panathinaikos play at home on November 25, two days before the first half of the international window. Efes, the remaining involved side, will face AS Monaco in Salle Gaston Medecin on November 26.
With Serbia also in Group C, alongside Bosnia-Herzegovina and Switzerland, the challenge for Turkiye is to rank among the top three seeds to advance and carry the W-L tally into Group J. In a new six-game schedule opposite the top three from Group D, three World Cup tickets are available.
