Following Serbia’s defeat to Turkey in Belgrade last Friday in the qualifiers for the 2027 World Cup in Qatar, Dusan Alimpijevic’s team will have one of the veterans of European basketball available.
According to Mozzart Sports, Aleksa Avramovic will play against Ataman’s team next Monday to try to get to a 3-1 record in Group C of the World Cup Qualifiers standings.
The Dubai Basketball player was at the last meeting with his teammates, cheering them on, and has been training with the rest of the squad. It appears that Serbia will have one of its captains available for the final game of this second round of the World Cup Qualifiers.
Mozzart Sport also reports that Dusan Alimpijevic will not be able to count on Nikola Kalinic for the important second game against Türkiye, as he has left the national team’s training camp, according to an agreement with Crvena Zvezda.
