After an exciting Sunday, we will see a lot of basketball on Monday as well, with eight games to be played in groups A, B, C, and D.
Group A: Another victory for Georgia
Georgia defeated Denmark for the second time in three days, this time with a score of 89-60.
Marcquise Reed dominated, finishing the match with 29 points and seven assists, and Tornike Shengelia was also outstanding, scoring 27 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. On the other hand, Jonathan Klussmann was the best for Denmark with 17 points.
Group B: Russell is a hero for Romania, Greece got revenge
Romania achieved their first victory in the qualifications by defeating Portugal at home with a score of 101-96.
The absolute hero was Fatts Russell with 29 points and seven three-pointers made. Mihal Maciuca added 21 points, with six three-pointers, while Emi Catu scored 14. On the other side, Travante Williams was outstanding with 33 points.
Greece achieved revenge against Montenegro by defeating them away with a score of 79-65.
Vasileios Toliopoulos scored 27 points, along with ten assists, leading his team to victory. Following him, Dimitrios Moraitis added nine points. On the other side, Igor Drobnjak was the best performer with 14 points.
Group C: Turkey crushed Serbia again
For the second time in four days, Turkey defeated Serbia with a score of 94-86.
In one of the most exciting matches of the day, Ergin Ataman’s team held the lead for almost the entire game and eventually secured the victory.
Tarik Biberovic led his team with 21 points, Omer Yurtseven added 17, while Sehmus Hazer contributed 15. For Serbia, Aleksa Avramovic had 16 points and nine assists, Ognjen Dobric scored 14, and Dejan Davidovac had 12.
Bosnia and Herzegovina got the job done in the fourth round match by defeating Switzerland away with a score of 91-60.
Dzanan Musa was outstanding with 25 points, while Amar Alibegović added 13. For the home team, Boris Mbala scored nine points.
Group D: Big win for Lithuania
Lithuania recorded an important victory, as they defeated Iceland at home with a score of 99-82.
Iceland was unable to surprise as they did three days ago, and the hosts were led to victory by Ignas Brazdeikis with 27 points, while Ignas Sargiunas added 18. On the other side, Kristinn Palsson scored 23 points.
