Eight more matches of the European qualifiers for the 2027 FIBA World Cup were played, concluding the fourth round.
After the great matches played on Sunday, we saw excellent games on Monday as well, and four teams can celebrate advancing to the second round of the qualifiers. These teams are Spain, Georgia, Turkey, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Turkey leads Group C with a record of 4-0, while Bosnia and Herzegovina have also secured progress in the same group with a record of 2-2. It is expected that Serbia, which also has a 2-2 record, will advance from the same group, although they have not yet theoretically progressed.
A similar situation exists in Group A, where Spain remains perfect. Georgia has a 2-2 record and has advanced, and Ukraine also has the same record, with only theoretical chances separating them from advancing. Groups B and D await their resolution in the final two rounds.
On Sunday, France, Finland, Croatia, Germany, Israel, and Poland secured their progress early on.
