A few days after his interview with Eurohoops, Efes‘ General Manager Alper Yilmaz talks again about FIBA calendars and the Turkish National Team.
“We held a meeting with TBF CEO Ömer Onan on the matter of sending our players to the Turkish NT. We are working on finding a common solution which harms neither our NT nor the clubs. Both parties are showing goodwill.
We do not want our NT or the clubs or the country or our athletes to suffer because of the things happening out of our control. We are thinking hard on how to solve this issue and I hope we will find a solution.”
