The first day of the third window of the FIBA World Cup Qualification games is now completed with a big victory over Croatia over Italy.

Even though Croatia blew out a double-digit lead in the final period, they still managed to get the victory over Italy with 78-72.

Bojan Bogdanovic played a key role in this game, as he tapped 26 points along with seven rebounds and six assists for the winners. Fellow NBAers Ivica Zubac and Dario Saric finished with 12 and 9 points each.

Italy, that attempted a comeback to the game, had a big blow early, as Daniel Hackett rolled his ankle and headed straight to the locker room after just four minutes of action.

Earlier in the day, Janis Strelnieks and Latvia prevailed over Sweden, while Spain rose above Slovenia in the presence of Luka Doncic.
