Slovenia unveils September World Cup qualifiers roster

The Slovenian Basketball Federation announced its roster for the September FIBA World Cup windows, which will lack superstar Luka Doncic.

The reigning EuroBasket champions will have to face the challenge of the September games against Latvia and Turkey without Luka Doncic, who is preparing for his rookie NBA season.

Rado Trifunovic’s team will also lack Klemen Prepelic, who’s in training camp with Real Madrid.

The roster that will compete is the following:

Matic Rebec, Edo Muric, Aljaz Bratec, Jakob Cebasek, Ziga Dimec, Urban Durnik, Gregor Glas, Miha Lapornik, Blaz Mahkovic, Blaz Mesicek, Gasper Vidmar, Luka Vončina, Sasa Zagorac, while Vlatko Cancar, Gregor Hrovat, Yuri Macura, Luka Rupnik and Anthony Randolph will join the team on September 9.
