The Ukrainian Basketball Federation announced the 18-man roster that the national team’s games will use in the September World Cup Qualifiers.

The roster includes Atlanta Hawks Alex Len, who will debut with the Ukrainian Senior national team, L.A Lakers forward Svi Mykhailiuk and Barcelona center Artem Pustovii. Pooh Jeter returns as Ukraine’s naturalized player. Ukraine will face Spain on September 14 and Montenegro on September 17.

After finishing Round 1 of the Qualifiers with a 3-3 record, Ukraine is currently fourth in Group I. The Group also includes  Spain (6-0), Turkey (4-2), Latvia (4-2), Montenegro (3-3) and reigning EuroBasket champion Slovenia (4-2). The first three teams advance to the World Cup while the rest will play in the 2021 EuroBasket Qualifiers.
