Australia’s 17-man preliminary squad for the 2019 World Cup features eight NBA and one EuroLeague player

The Australian basketball federation announced 17 players which head coach Andrej Lemanis chose for the preliminary squad in front of the 2019 World Cup in China. It features eight NBA and one EuroLeague player while seven come from the Australian League.

Australia will play friendly games against Canada in Perth on August 16 and 17 as well as the USA in Melbourne at Marvel Stadium on August 22 and 24.
