World Cup Day 4 Recap: Thrillers heat up the stage

The fourth day of 2019 FIBA World Cup brought a lot of excitement after which six more teams (12 total so far) secured a ticket to the Second Round – USA, Brazil, Dominican Republic, France, Australia, Lithuania.

It kicked off with Australia’s win over feisty Senegal as Joe Ingles flirted with a first-ever World Cup triple-double while New Zealand got past Montenegrin squad which has been very displeased with officiating.

The Dominican Republic won the first thriller of the day against Germany while the Czech Republic, Lithuania, and France logged convincing wins.

Last but definitely not least, Brazil and the USA survived thrillers against Greece and Turkey respectively as fans all over the world enjoyed the best show so far at this World Cup.
