Following the officiating decisions in the game against France that infuriated Dainius Adomaitis, the coach announced he will withdraw from the Lithuanian NT after the World Cup, as reported by Donatas Urbonas.
Not even FIBA’s statement about the three referees that have been disqualified from officiating any more World Cup games didn’t seem to make the coach change his mind, as his decision was announced hours after that.
Adomaitis will exit the national selection after four years in charge.
