Just before the EuroLeague Final, Theo Papaloukas writes about the big game and what he expects to see tonight at “Sinan Erdem” between Olympiacos and Fenerbahce.

Hello everyone!

Olympiacos did more than everyone was expected from them and proved to be a team with a unique spirit. That’s why no one wants to play with him in a knockout game.

On the other hand, Fenerbahce was much more focused than Real Madrid from the first moment, specially on defense. They controlled the game, got things were they wanted to go and after locking down Madrid on defense, they get one more shot for the EuroLeague title.

That’s why today this is a very difficult game for both teams. The control of the tempo and the larger than life personalities will be decisive factors. There are strong personalities on both sides and it will be interesting to see who will prevail in the end. We will certainly see a very physical game and I think that much will be decided from that factor.

It will be very interesting to see how Fenerbahce will try to defend Spanoulis and how Olympiakos will face the “twin” towers of the Turkish team, Ekpe Udoh and Jan Vesely.

In any case, you don’t want to miss this game, so tune in and enjoy!

Theo
