As we approach the beginning of the training camps of national teams for the upcoming Eurobasket, more and more players are going to announce their plans of.not traveling in Slovenia. Russia has already two official absences with Kirilenko and Khriapa and there is more than a chance for Fotis Katsikaris to miss another important player.
Sasha Kaun has already hinted that he will not play, and at this point seems like it’s certainty, because a member of his family faces a serious health problem. Naturally, the experienced center of CSKA is concerned and want to be near his relatives, but still he has not taken his final decision.
