Mario Chalmers will extend his run in Greece to a second season through Aris, the team announced Monday confirming previous reports. The Kansas alum was already part of the preseason training of his new team.
Chalmers, 34, played in Greece last season as well and won the Greek Cup with AEK. He averaged 6.0 points, 2.2 assists, 1.8 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per Basketball Champions League match, and added 6.1 points per game at the domestic level.

Prior to moving to Italy, the 2008 NCAA champion took part in 745 NBA games between the Miami Heat and the Memphis Grizzlies, going all the way twice in the playoffs, 2012 and 2013.
Aris recently confirmed another major signing, Jamal Shuler. The 34-year-old guard also spent the previous season in Greece but attached to Iraklis.
