Panathinaikos routed Promitheas on the road.

Panathinaikos Athens became the first team to beat Promitheas at Patras this Greek League season, by taking a 83 – 61 “payback” win after losing in the first-leg game at home. The Greens were particularly dominant in the second half, outplaying their opponents 32 – 46 to comfortably get the victory.

George Papagiannis had game-highs 15 points and 14 rebounds while Ioannis Papapetrou scored 14, Howard Sant-Roos 13 and Leonidas Kaselakis 10 points for top-seeded (19-2) Panathinaikos.

Charis Giannopoulos (16 points), Jerian Grant (13 points) and Jerai Grant (11 points, seven boards) scored in double figures for Promitheas. Their team dropped to 15 – 6 and is third in the standings.
