Veteran NBA guard Ty Lawson will continue his career in Greece and Kolossos Rhodes, as the club announced. He will be playing in Europe again for the first time after a short stint he had with Zalgiris Kaunas during the 2011 NBA lockout.

Lawson, 33, had also signed with Kolossos last January but he couldn’t leave China and actually join the team due to travel issues. He moved to Greece in May and practicing (including some workouts at Eurohoops Dome) to get ready for the 2021-22 season.

From 2009 to 2018, Lawson played 587 games in the NBA and averaged 12.3 points with such teams as the Denver Nuggets, Houston Rockets, Indiana Pacers, Sacramento Kings and the Washington Wizards. In 2019-2020 he was playing with the Fujian Sturgeons in China.
