Olympiacos outscored PAOK mateco, 45-30, in the second half turning a close game into a blowout en route to the win, 86-68, on Sunday.

Six players scoring in double-digits shaped out a balanced offensive effort in the Stoiximan Basket League Regular Season Round 7 affair. Sasha Vezenkov, Michalis Lountzis, and Shaquielle McKissic shared the team-high 12 points. Moustapha Fall had 11 points. Giorgos Printezis and Tyler Dorsey added ten points apiece.

The team based in Thessaloniki was competitive through the first twenty minutes but was forced into a double-digit deficit in the third quarter and did not recover. Marvin Jones with 17 points and Josh Carter with 14 points were not enough at the Peace and Friendship Stadium. Jermaine Love followed with ten points.

The team coached by Giorgos Bartzokas improved to 6-0 remaining on top of the Greek League standings. Panathinaikos OPAP at 5-1 trails 5-2 sides Promitheas and Kolossos H Hotels in the points-based system but is actually one win behind its archrival. PAOK falling to 1-5 is part of a three-way tie with Iraklis and Larisa at the bottom of the standings.

Moving past the domestic streak, the Reds enter the next double-game week of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague. They will match up against Anadolu Efes in Istanbul on Wednesday and host Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv on Friday. The 6-3 record so far consists of six wins in Greece and three losses on the road.

Sunday results:

Larisa – Peristeri Vitabiotics 63-78
Aris – Iraklis 83-78 OT (73-73)
Olympiacos – PAOK mateco 86-68
