Coming back from a 19-point deficit, Panathinaikos OPAP managed to survive the scare from Larisa, 90-86, to keep the streak going at the domestic level Sunday.

Serbian star Nemanja Nedovic fell one point shy of his career-high banking in 38 points. He connected 13/20 field goals, including 8/14 from beyond the arc in the rescheduled Stoiximan Basket League Regular Season Round 10 fixture. His personal best remains at 39 points in a loss to Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv, December 22, 2020.

Okaro White chipped in 13 more points, while fellow American import Daryl Macon had ten points along with a game-high five assists. Captain Ioannis Papapetrou remained out for the team coached by Dimitris Priftis.

Explosive point guard Stefan Moody with 19 points, five rebounds, and three assists was not enough for Larisa. Jalen Hudson and Marin Maric ended up with 15 points apiece.

The Greens finally got in the lead midway through the fourth quarter digging their way out of the 19-point hole. Holding on improved the domestic record to 11-1 and matched rival Olympiacos on top of the standings. The hosts fell to 4-9.

Moving on, Panathinaikos will collide with LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne Friday. Prior to the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season Round 26 visit at Astroballe, the Greek side has been held to the wrong end of the result in all 11 previous away games of the 2021-22 Regular Season. At 5-17 overall, the spots leading to the Playoffs are 5.5 games away, while ASVEL at 9-15 sits three games closer.
