Experienced shooting guard Andrew Goudelock will resume his career in Greece, playing for Kolossos H Hotels.

Goudelock, 34, was expected to join the team based in Rhodes, as reported by Eurohoops. His addition was officially confirmed on Sunday.

The newcomer will be placed into a strong squad, including Virginia product London Perrantes. Certainly a huge move for the team coached by Curro Segura.

Kolossos is currently focused on success in Greece’s Basket League and remaining domestic competitions. A 2-2 start paints the picture of the first four showings in the 2023-24 Basket League Regular Season.

Since debuting in the country’s top-tier division in 2005 and emerging as a constant feature since 2007, expanding to the continental level has been among potential plans. The upgrade largely depends on moving to a suitable venue for home games.

Goudelock is a veteran of 74 games played in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and 27 appearances in the 7DAYS EuroCup, now BKT EuroCup. His most recent continental experience was in the Basketball Champions League and four games as a member of Rytas in the 2020-21 season. Displaying his talents across Europe, previous stops were in Russia, Turkiye, Israel, Italy, Lithuania, and Spain.

Back in 2011, he was selected with the 46th overall pick of the NBA draft by the Los Angeles Lakers and launched two years with the storied franchise. A stint with the Houston Rockets in 2015-16 upped the combined total of NBA appearances to 58.
