Former NBA and CSKA player Dionte Christmas returned to Greece, where he made some of his first step as a pro for Rethymno and signed with AEK Athens as the club announced.

Christmas is expected in Greece in the next hours in order to sign with the Greek club after a peculiar season for him which started with Paris Levallois, continued in Cleveland as he left France in December for the Cavs. However after a few games he return to Europe for Israel and Hapoel Holon where he played for two games before joining AEK.

Christmas played also in the past in Greece for PAOK and Rethimno where he averaged in the 2011-12 season 18,6 points per game. After that season his career took off, as he signed for CSKA Moscow, then for Siena and in September 2013 with the Phoenix Suns.
