After making his comeback from injury in the EuroLeague Final Four, Panathinaikos Athens center Mathias Lessort was cut from the roster of the team ahead of the Greek League Finals against archrival Olympiacos Piraeus.

Lessort wasn’t included on the list of seven foreign players that are available for Panathinaikos in the Finals. This decision marks the end of the season for the French big man who will have to wait for the next campaign to wear the Green jersey once again.

Panathinaikos has named Kendrick Nunn, Cedi Osman, Juancho Hernangomez, Jerian Grant, Wenyen Gabriel, Omer Yurtseven and Lorenzo Brown to the list of foreign players for the series. Coach Ergin Ataman can pick six players from this list to use in each game.

Lessort played in the EuroLeague semifinal loss to Fenerbahce Beko Friday, stepping on the floor for the first time after suffering a broken fibula in December. He also played in the third-place game defeat to Olympiacos.
