Tyler Dorsey scored 23 points on 5-7 triples, claiming MVP as Olympiacos Piraeus beat Promitheas Patras 92 – 83 in the 2025 Greek SuperCup Final to win the title for the fourth consecutive season.

Sasha Vezenkov added 16 points for Olympiacos that led even by 19 points, going up 55 – 36 early in the second half. Dorsey gave his team a 70 – 51 avantage near the end of the third quarter but Promitheas wasn’t about to give up.

Thanks to some strong defensive plays and multiple turnovers by Olympiacos, Promitheas made a comeback and approached 76 – 72 with 5:33 to play. Their Reds responded with an 8-2 run and then kept their opponents at a distance.

Thanasis Bazinas led Promitheas with 17 points while Kendale McCullum posted 14 points plus eight assists and Pauly Paulicup scored 14 and grabbed eight rebounds.

Donta Hall contributed 11 points plus five rebounds to the win of Olympiacos. Thomas Walkup dropped 11 points as well.

It has to be noted that Panathinaikos didn’t compete to the SuperCup due to decision of  the club to hold the “Pavlos Giannakopoulos” tournament in Australia. The Greek league denied the demand to change the already scheduled SuperCup dates and Panathinaikos was unable to compete.

The Greens were also punished with a 20.00 euros fine and lost the right to compete also in the 2026 SuperCup.

After the final Panathinaikos posted on social media a congratulatory message to Olympiacos for winning the SuperCup and the Reds answered back in a similar tone.
