With Evan Fournier and Thomas Walkup returning to action, Olympiacos pulled away in the second half to defeat Panionios, 81-66, in the Peace and Friendship Stadium.
Pushing the Reds to 3-0 in Greece’s Stoiximan GBL Regular Season, Donta Hall and Frank Ntilikina shared a team-high 16 points. Facing his former team, Michalis Lountzis registered a game-high 20 points on the wrong end of the Round 3 contest.
Tyler Dorsey and Saben Lee were scratched, alongside Keenan Evans, Moustapha Fall, Shaquielle McKissic, and Omiros Netzipoglou. Sasha Vezenkov was in the lineup but did not play for the team coached by Giorgos Bartzokas.
Panathinaikos to 2-1
Later Sunday in Rhodes, Panathinaikos Aktor took down Kolossos H Hotels Collection, 90-67, and improved to 2-1. T.J. Shorts II paved the way with a game-high 18 points to go with five assists. Omer Yurtseven added 13 points and nine rebounds.
With Mathias Lessort and Alexandros Samodurov stuck on the injury list, Kostas Sloukas, Juancho Hernangomez, and Cedi Osman were rested. Also, Richaun Holmes was limited to 89 seconds due to an adductor injury, but is expected to be available for Round 6 of the 2025-26 Regular Season of the EuroLeague and a clash versus Virtus Bologna at PalaDozza on Friday.
