At the top of the second quarter, Keenan Evans checked in and hit a three-pointer, 30 seconds in his first game since May 24.

The 29-year-old combo guard lasted nearly 20 minutes on Sunday, helping Olympiacos beat Karditsa Iaponiki, 65-51, in the Peace and Friendship Stadium. Presenting an additional backcourt option for the head coach Giorgos Bartzokas, he tallied 15 points and five assists.

“He played well, but he would deserve this applause for his efforts to return, even if he did not,” said 60-year-old Bartzokas told Greek public television ERT, referring to a warm welcome for the Texas Tech product in SEF.

“Each day, I tried to take the time, day by day, and not to try to think too far ahead, because it’s a long process, but it felt amazing to contribute to the team in an official game,” mentioned Evans.

With a fourth straight win across all competitions, the defending Greek League champions improved to 6-0 in the 2025-26 Stoiximan GBL Regular Season. Tyler Dorsey put in a game-high 19 points. Donta Hall, Evan Fournier, and Alec Peters matched Evans at 15 points apiece.

Between roster restrictions and injuries, Thomas Walkup, Nikola Milutinov, Tyson Ward, Shaquielle McKissic, and Moustapha Fall sat out for the Round 6 contest.
