Panathinaikos reacted in time to get the win at home (97-82) against Iraklis BC without Kendrick Nunn who missed the game. The Greens are now at 9-1 in the GBL.
TJ Shorts (19 points, 7 assists) and Richaun Holmes (19 p.) who returned from injury were Panathinaikos‘ top scorers. Juancho Hernangomez added 14, while Kostas Sloukas was rested.
Panathinaikos had a tougher first half than expected. Coach Ergin Ataman’s team couldn’t find its pace against Iraklis before the break (51-52).
Shorts and Holmes changed things in the second half, as the home side prevailed.
