Andrew Goudelock was arrested by Greek police, reportedly after a quantity of hashish was found in his possession.
However, the former Laker was released almost immediately, and no charges have been brought against him.
After this turn of events, Goudelock made the following post on his social media, trying to clarify the issue.
“I am aware of the recent reports, circulating about me. I want to clarify that there were no charges brought against me. Following judicial review, I was released”.
Goudelock also asks everyone to respect his right to privacy, remaining focused on his professional responsibilities.
UPDATE: On the 6th of January 2026, Kolssos Rodos, the team in which Goudelock was playing in the Greek League, announced his release due to this incident. According to Goudelock the decision was not mutual, so legal action is expected from his side.
