Easy job for Panathinaikos on the road against Karditsas (53-78). Ataman’s team stepped in the third quarter (13-31) to secure the away victory.
Richaun Holmes (20 points and 7 rebounds) and Toliopoulos (11) were Panathinaikos‘ top scorers. Juancho Hernangomez added 10 to the victory. Kendrick Nunn, Mathias Lessort, and Omer Yurtseven did not play.
Panathinaikos increased the pace before the break (22-32) after a great Hernangomez and Holmes’ second quarter. TJ Shorts and Grant set the pace again without Nunn on the court.
In the third, they crushed past the local team to secure another win on the road (53-78) and stay on top of the GBL (15-2), just behind an undefeated Olympiacos (17-0).
