Olympiacos has received bad news as Nikola Milutinov suffered a fracture in his right thumb.
The Serbian center was injured during an attempt by JaCorey Williams to strip the ball in the Green Cup semifinal against Maroussi and appeared to be in pain immediately.
He stayed on the court for a few minutes but eventually requested a substitution as the pain persisted.
Milutinov received first aid, had ice applied to his hand, and an Olympiacos doctor wrapped and supported his thumb. He didn’t return to the court and further tests confirmed the fracture, ruling him out for the Greek Cup final.
As of now, there is no timeline for his return to the court.
It’s worth noting that Tyrique Jones is dealing with tendonitis, but he is expected to return sooner rather than later.
