Greek Basketball Federation President George Vasilakopoulos wants Olympiacos to stay in the Greek Basket League, as he told in his recent interview with Greek Newspaper “Ta Nea”.
“It will be a disaster for basketball, for such a great club with a history like Olympiacos‘ to play in the second division and a solution must be reached fast. I’m clear about this”, Vasilakopoulos mentioned.
For the moment, Olympiacos is relegated to the Second Division after skipping the Greek League playoffs earlier this May.
