Karsiyaka beat Fenerbahce in Game 3 (84-83 after overtime) and it’s one victory away from the finals! The team from Izmir leads the series 2-1 with Kenneth Gabriel being the hero 4’’ before the end!
Karsiyaka took advantage of its home court and prevailed over Fenerbahce after a game which the hosts controlled completely after the second quarter but in the ended needed the extra period to win it.
Jon Diebler was the leading scorer of Karsiyaka with 19 points and 5 threes, but the clutch player who scored the winning basket was Kenneth Gabriel (16 points, 10 rebs). Bogdan Bogdanovic lost the last shot and the hosts celebrated a really big victory.
Fenerbahce was trailing but reacted during the last two minutes with Zisis getting the tie (76-76) only one second before the end of regulation. Karsiyaka leads the series 2-1 and the fourth game will be held in Izmir. Fenerbahce lost the cup against Anadolu Efes and missing the TBL Finals will be the worst way to finish the season. Nothing is decided yet and everybody is anxious for Game 4.
