Sassari scored just 4 points in the third quarter and Reggio Emilia had even a 57-46 lead. However, David Logan scored 19 of his 25 points in the last quarter and led the hosts to the 80-77 win and cut Emilia’s lead to 2-1 wins in the Legabasket finals.
Logan finished the game with 7/12 threes, Sassari scored 33 points in the last period and turned the tables against Reggio Emilia, which had things under control after the third quarter. Amadeo Della Valle with 18 points on 4/7 threes led the losing side and he tried to tie the game in the end with a prayer, but couldn’t make it. Reggio Emilia managed to cut the lead of Sassari even at one (78-77) in the closing seconds and Brian Sacchetti with two free throws decided the outcome.
