Limoges did it again against Strasbourg! The French champs won the back to back title (3-1 wins) after the victory (82-75) in Game 4 of the ProA Finals.
Limoges became the first team after Orthez in 2003-04 that won the French championship two seasons in row in an amazing season that also included winning the French Cup.
The hero of Limoges was Pooh Jeter who signed to the team three months ago and transformed it completely. The American guard with Ukrainian passport scored 21 points with 3/6 2ps and 3/5 3ps having next to him in a great night Boungou Colo (17p with 3/4 3ps), Zerbo (16p) and Camara (10p).
Strasbourg fought hard and was leading the score (63-62) in 36′ but failed to be competitive until the end and collapsed in the last decisive minutes. Leloup (17p) and Diot (14p) couldn’t change the fate of their team that missed the title despite having the home advantage.
