It was a game that just couldn’t end, but Sassari managed after three overtimes to get the 115-108 win over Reggio Emilia, tied the finals of Legabasket and the championship title will be decided in Game 7.
It was a test of strengh and character with the duo of Jerome Dyson (26 p., 7 r., 8 as.) and Shane Lawal (25 p., 16 r.) refusing to lose. David Logan added 23 points for the winners. Amadeo Della Valle had 25 points for the losing side and Rimantas Kaukenas added 20. Both teams lost their share of chances to win the game earlier and in the end the hosts prevailed. It remains to be seen what will be the answer of Reggio Emilia at home in the next and last game of the season.
