The offer was made for quite some time and finally Fotis Katsikaris decided to accept it. The coach of the Greek national team is also the new coach of Murcia, a deal which will be officialized after the Eurobasket.
The addition of Katsikaris to Murcia is one more proof for the ambitions of the team. Murcia just missed the playoffs in Liga Endesa’s last season, finishing 10th in the regular season standings.
