Brose Baskets still leads the standings in German BBL, but this Sunday in Berlin Alba beat its fellow Euroleague team and owns the second best record in the league having played one game less than the defending champions

It was a day of joy in Berlin, as Alba beat Brose Baskets 90-75 with former Tar Heel Deon Thompson (photo) having a double double (19 p., 11 r.). Both teams are preparing also for the Euroleague’s Top16 as opponents in group E. The defending champions still have the best record in the league (10-2) with one game less after 13 gamedays, but Alba is closing on them (9-2) and also has two games less than most teams.
