The defending champions still has a comfortable lead in the standings of German BBL, but Bayern Munich has six wins in a row under coach Pesic and climbed to the 4th place after the end of the 17th gameday

Defending champions Brose Baskets got one more win – this time against Bayreuth by 85-74 – and has the top spot of the standings in BEKO BBL and a comfortable lead with a 14-2 record after 17 gamedays. Still the story in Germany is that Bayern Munich beat by a bucket (80-78) last season’s runner up Ulm with Jared Homan (photo) scoring 20 points and climbed to the 4th place of the standings with a 11-6 record after its 6th straight win under coach Svetislav Pesic, just behing Oldenburg (12-5) and Alba Berlin (11-5).
