Maccabi Tel Aviv is the top dog in Israel – as always – with a 11-1 record, but this week a newcomer made a difference in the league. Former Union Olimpija guard Dominic Waters (photo) who left Slovenia for Hapoel Holon had 13 assists and led his new team, the 10th in the standings with a 4-8 record, in a 89-84 win against 2nd placed Maccabi Haifa (8-4).
