Game 1 of Liga Endesa’s finals ended with Real Madrid getting the 76-72 win after a 11 points come back in the last quarter and a controversial last second call.  Barcelona asked for a foul, when Victor Sada (17 p.) was ready for a lay up and Sergio Rodriguez (21 p.) poked the ball out of his hands and out of the court (video). With the score being 73-72 in favor of Real Madrid and 2,3 seconds remaining, the referees awarded the possession of the ball to the hosts, Sada, Navarro and coach Pascual reacted angrily and the aftermath was a “T” to Navarro and two free throws by Sergio. After the end of the game Sada claimed that Sergio himself told him that the controversial call was wrong.
