The 7th gameday of ESAKE‘s Greek league will be remembered by Olympiacos‘ feat. The Reds by beating Apollon Patron (93-71) on Monday tied their historical best start of a season with a streak of 16 wins in every competition they are participating, dating back in the 1997-98 season, when they were also defending Euroleague champions. Still Olympiacos despite having a 7-0 record is second in the standings – due to its -2 points penalty – tied with PAOK and Panionios (5-2), while Panathinaikos is alone on the team with a 6-1 record.
