Playing without Rudy, things weren’t that easy for Real Madrid, but the defending champions got the 78-70 win over Zaragoza in Game 1 of their quarterfinal series in the play offs. Once again Felipe Reyes was the hero with 18 crucial points and 6 rebounds.
Zaragoza cut the lead of Real to three (55-52) in the 33rd minute, but couldn’t get closer. Sergio Llull finished the game with 16 points and Giannis Bourousis added 11 points. Roll and Jones had 13 points each for Zaragoza.
