After an almost tied first half versus Dinamo Sassari, Unics Kazan put the pedal to the medal and finally got an easy win 85-62. The partial score in the third and fourth quarter combinded was 50-25 in favor of the hosts who had the control throughout the second half.
The Italians had 11 players available in their roster, after cutting center Marco Cousin who continues his career in Vanoli Cremona. As a result, Sassari which was heavily based in the back court, even when Cousin was with the team, didn’t have any kind of inside game. Unics’ D’Or Fisher (photo) had 14 points on 6/7 shots and 9 rebounds, while five more players scored in double digits. Kostas Kamaikoglou was among them and he also dished 8 assists despite being a forward.
