In the coming out party of Cedi Osman, Anadolu Efes became the first team to beat Real Madrid this season in Euroleague. The game was decided with former Real Madrid player Dontaye Draper stealing the ball and a last second tip in by Matt Janning (75-73).
Draper stole the ball with 7 seconds to go from Gustavo Ayon, his teammate Miljko Bjelica was blocked by Andres Nocioni, Osman got the rebound and missed the follow shot, but Janning had the time to also get the rebound and score at the buzzer. Anadolu Efes manage to keep Real in a low tempo game with Osman finishing the game with 16 points on 4/4 threes, 7 rebounds, 3 blocks, 2 assists and one steal. Dario Saric added 13 points and three more players scored in double digits (Perperoglou, Lasme, Bjelica). Real Madrid got 20 points from Sergio Llull and 17 points by Giannis Bourousis.
