During the first half Zalgiris seemed lost against Nizhny Novgorod, but the guests found the way through defense to respond and finally get a valuable 61-55 road win which gives them a huge advantage in the Top16 race.
Nizhny was leading 37-23 after the end of the first 20 minutes of action, however Zalgiris answered admirably by letting the hosts score just 7 points in the third period and 11 in the last one. The end result was a big come back win with James Anderson being again the leader with 18 points despite having 6/17 shots from the field and 7 rebounds. Veterans Robertas Javtokas and Paulius Jankunas were also big factor scoring 9 points each and getting also 11 rebounds each. Taylor Rochestie tried his best with 15 points and 11 assists for Nizhny but it wasn’t enough.
