Le Mans managed to prevail in one game which will be remembered and got the win after three overtimes over Nanterre (98-96). Charles Kahudi with 15 points was the MVP of the game which marked the first day of the French leaders’ cup final eight.

Nancy will be Le Mans’ opponent in the semifinal after beating Limoges 77-68 as Kiki Clark scored 21 points and Vaughn Duggins was the top scorer with 25.

Earlier the ProA leader Strasbourg and Dijon got with relative ease the wins over Le Havre (73-57) and Paris Levallois (80-66) respectively. Dijon so far has beaten three times Paris in the season and Strasbourg thanks to the duo of Matt Howard (14 p., 10 r., photo) and Ali Traore (15 p., 5 r.) dominated the paint. The two winners will face each other in Saturday’s semifinals.
