The 9th week of Euroleague Top16 started with Alba Berlin defending its home court against Zalgiris Kaunas by getting the 80-72 win. Reggie Redding was the top scorer for the winners with 27 points, a personal Euroleague best.
Redding played also for his injured teammates Hammond and McLean in a game which was decided in the second half, thanks to the hosts defense and the great advantage of the Germans in reboundings (35-17). Alba kept in check James Anderson, letting him score just 10 points and that was the key.
